CAse Study
Leon County School System
Leon County School System required a polished presentation to communicate key initiatives and messaging to stakeholders. Working from a storyboard developed by the Creative Director, I was responsible for executing the visual production — translating narrative structure into cohesive motion graphics and final delivery assets.
Role: Motion Graphics & Presentation Production
Scope: Editing, motion graphics development, intro animation design, music sourcing, and final assembly
Collaborators: Jeremy Spinks, Creative Director
Challenge: Transform a pre-defined storyboard into a visually cohesive and engaging presentation. The final product needed to maintain clarity of message while elevating the overall production value through motion, pacing, and sound design.
Approach: Using the established storyboard as a foundation, I developed motion graphics and animated elements to reinforce key messaging. Particular attention was paid to pacing, transitions, and visual rhythm to ensure clarity and audience engagement throughout the presentation.
The video begins with an animated version of the old logo. I thought that giving it an older hand drawn 70’s style animation treatment would emphasize the age and era in which it was created.
We move on to headlines highlighting challenges that the county faces moving into frame.
This clip illustrates the thought behind the new branding.
